My friend Tim told me about the article Planting and Growing Churches from the Inside-Out developed at St. Nicholas Episcopal Church in Darnestown, MD by The Rev. Ken Howard. I found his charts to be the most interesting of all.
The article is herePlanting and Growing Churches from the Inside-Out

I am including the links to the charts that go with the article here because I find them so enlightening and I really agree with his research.

He is responding to the current idea of huge churches with great entertainment vs small, intentional movments in which attenders are discipled to a deeper spiritual walk.
This has some wonderful thoughts I would love to see (or even better be a
part of) fleshed out in practice. My only quibble (and it s a really minor
thing) is the central liturgical symbol. Rather than pulpit or altar I
would suggest table. I think it fits better with the community of Christ
model but like I say, its a quibble. As opposed to a kibble which is good
with bits.
I agree with you. I suppose that reveals their theology. I am not a Quaker
because of one major iissue. They don't have sacraments. That table is a
very big part of my theology.
